Our vision is to create a medium where those who have made this commitment can connect. Our purpose is to foster change and progress by pairing international volunteers with local communities in need.
 

In its purest form, Help on the Way is about lending hands, encouraging growth, and changing lives. Our helping hands promote progress that go beyond the tangible contributions we make. Our continued presence changes lives. We encourage growth and friendship, inspire confidence, and build foundations for progress that exceed those built of brick and mortar. Our cross cultural exchange strives to teach that as people we are all more alike than we are different. We believe our influences on one another are more powerful than you may imagine. We realize that choosing to participate is the biggest contribution one can make.
 
We commend individual volunteers and local communities for understanding that only in striving to help yourself are you able to help others. It is in this truth that we encourage a volunteer experience lived by the saying “Let the world change you and you can change the world”.
